- How do I apply for an open position?
First, view our current openings. When you find an opportunity that matches your interests and skills, please click the "Apply Now" button at the bottom of the job description. This is the first step in the application process. You must have an e-mail account to set up a user account, and a résumé is required to apply for a position. We strongly prefer that you attach a résumé during the application process; however, you will have the option to cut/paste your résumé if an attachment is not available. Please complete all the questions in the application so we can begin to understand your qualifications for the position(s) in which you are interested. Required fields are indicated by a star. You can edit and/or update your résumé at any time when you are applying for a position. To edit your résumé, log in using your e-mail and password, and then select “upload new document for this application” under the position you are applying for.
- What is your interview process?
A confirmation e-mail thanking you for your application will be sent to you after you have submitted your résumé. Your application will be shared with the appropriate recruiter and should you be selected, you will be contacted regarding next steps. If you are invited for a telephone pre-screen interview, we will contact you directly via e-mail and you will be able to schedule the pre-screen, via an internet link, for a time that is convenient for you. Following your telephone pre-screen, if your background and skill sets match the position requirements, the recruiter will forward your information to the appropriate hiring manager for review. The hiring manager will review all appropriate applications for the job and will select the candidates who will be invited for an interview. If you are invited for an interview, we will contact you by telephone or e-mail to check your availability. The hiring manager may choose to follow up with you by conducting an additional phone interview, or may wish to bring you into the MedImmune facility for an in-person interview.Following the interviews, the hiring team evaluates all candidates against the job requirements, and the hiring manager selects the best qualified candidate. If you are selected, a recruitment representative will contact you to make a verbal offer. This will be followed by a written offer letter, in which we'll explain the next steps of our on-boarding process, including a pre-employment screen. Following your successful pre-employment screen, Human Resources will coordinate with the hiring department to ensure a smooth on-boarding and orientation process for you. If you are not selected to continue in the hiring process, you will be notified via e-mail.
